In this latest installment of Boggs’s Killstraight series, Kill the Indian, Daniel Killstraight heads to Texas where he meets Quanah Parker. A freak accident leaves one Comanche chief dead and Quanah Parker severely injured.

Killstraight thinks it is no accident and sets out to investigate. Boggs’s knowledge of history and insightful treatment of the clash of cultures between white men and American Indians is the backdrop to this compelling story of murder, corruption and greed. Killstraight, a Comanche, perhaps Boggs’s greatest memorable character, lives in two worlds. As he searches for the murderer, his investigation leads him to an inner conflict. What will he do? It is no surprise, this is the best book yet in the series.
